Chromatics announce details new album

Chromatics are gearing up for a new album. The trio of Johnny Jewel, Ruth Radelet, and Adam Miller are going to be releasing Kill For Love in the first month of next year. It is their first full LP since 2007, and it will be released through the Italians Do It Better label. The album will consist of thirteen tracks, including ones called ‘Back from the Grave’, ‘These Streets Will Never Look the Same’, and ‘Running from the Sun’.

Imagine what it must’ve been like when mankind for the first time had to deal with the idea of summer. It had been Fall, and Winter, and then Spring, and suddenly Summer would come, and the sun would be so hot and so close and with every passing day it seemed as if it would come even closer and scorch the earth! The horror! How frightening it must be to see something happen and not know how it will end. So mankind organized a meeting (there weren’t so many people around back then so that was good, though you had to take into account the amount of days/weeks the message would take to get to someone, especially old Mr. Crabapple on the top of the hill in east Germany, then Prussia which was pronounced not so much as Prussia but more as a caveman growl).

In that meeting it was decided that, with the sun evidently coming closer (look at it! It’s huge!), they would try to run away from it. Surely if everyone started running in the same direction at the same time traction would come about (though that wsn’t the term used then. The term used then was something along the lines of, GROWHARRR). Unfortunately for these people, it seemed to work, for the sun would indeed be further away again (as in, it became Fall again), so every summer this had to be repeated, though the practice also led to an increasingly succesful bison hunt due to a better fitness level.
