The DJ Kicks series is getting yet another instalment. This time it is Gold Panda’s turn to show his mixing skills. His mix will contain twenty-two tracks, including cuts by 2562, Zomby, LV & Untold, Bok Bok, and a special DJ-Kicks track by Gold Panda himself. One of the tracks is titled ‘Heated Dust on a Sunlit Window’. This year saw the release of Motor CIty Drum Ensemble’s DJ-Kicks mix as well, which is a personal favourite around here.
Cautionary Health Warning: 22 Sep, 1983: We, as members of the department of health, want to warn the good citizens of our country for what is seen as a severe problem that is being underestimated by the general public and the media that has to inform them. This problem is heated dust on a sunlit window. It is imperative that this is removed at once. Research has shown that heated dust on sunlit windows are one of the major causes that a room might become low on energy. This therefore creates an environment where one feels drowsy, exhausted, and it may also cause dizzy spells and elephants to appear, though of the latter two we are not yet certain and research is on going. Our advice is to remove the creatants of negativity by use of a vacuum cleaner or, if one is not in close proximity to the pools of dust, a wet towel might be used as well. Also an option that has proved to work is putting a cat on the windowsill and force it to lick all the dust up. This is only recommended if you have a cat and are not on good terms with it.
