Crazy Zany Radio Sunday - 'Come To Me' by 65daysofstatic feat. Robert Smith

Every week our contributors will voice their opinion concerning one song, it’s a simple as that! The more the merrier, so people are always welcome to join in, just leave a note, eh.

Track: ‘Come To Me’ by 65Daysofstatic feat. Robert Smith (listen here)
Average grade: 5.9

Ilse: If I'd hear this song on the radio, I probably wouldn't be able to distinguish it from white noise and skip right past it.
4.0

Anna: This is what a fucking 9 sounds like.
Grade: a fucking 9

Craig: Robert Smith's voice seems rather out of place in this song.  Other than noting that, not much stood out to me on this track.  It was long, and the same as anything else of its genre.
3/10

Linda: Perfect background music for writing long, but irrelevant emails (I managed three in one listen).
7/10

Stef: I will always remember the band fondly for their show I witnessed in New Jersey of all places. That was nice. The first two minutes are a bit, well, bland, but when both Robert Smith appears at the same time the music starts picking up it becomes quite a nice track. Though, arguably, not as hypnotic as probably they themselves would’ve liked it to be. The blow out ending is quite lovely though.
6.5/10
