Craig: Wow, this song is so 'right now,' and here is a list of the stuff that makes it so absolutely of the moment:
-Complex, esoteric song name that hints at a concept album.
-Spooky, whispy female vocals.
-Sounds like it was recorded in a cave.
-Poetic-ish, cryptic lyrics.
-'Dark' imagery.
-Geometric shapes.
-It's not 'witch house,' but the band name does contain the word 'witch.'
Welcome to the dawn of 2012.

Anna: Very much enjoyed that - mixing of fragility with dark atmospherics making for such an addictive lament.
Question is, how brooding do *you* like your brooding?
Grade: 7
Linda: I have seen Esben and the Witch live a couple of times now, and every time I hear one of their singles it surprises me how they manage to completely strip everything away that makes their live performances so great. It's a real skill, but unfortunately not one that gets you to the top of the charts. This single is no exception to that rule, and although I'm positive it would sound great in real life, I can't help but to be completely underwhelmed by the digital version.

Stef: I like the atmosphere the instrumentals give this track. Very gothic I guess the word is. WIth that said, the vocals seem pasted under it and it takes a while for them to surface. Which would be great if that is your concept, but if it was (and I highly doubt it) it is poorly executed. I like how theatrical it is thought.
