Korallreven to release debut

The electronic music duo of Korallreven (Sweden, in case you were wondering where that name came from) will be releasing their debut album later this year. The exact date will be the 15th of November, and it will be released by Acéphale. Acéphale which has also released stuff by Air France for example. The album will see a regular release, but also a release on white vinyl. The first 200 copies even being a combination of white and silver.  The album will contain ten tracks, including one called ‘Honey Mine’.

Leopold Berzhini was a shrewd businessman, and that is needed more than ever in these times of economic crises! He thought by himself, Blimey, if I could produce something, create jobs with that, and now the marketplace is swarmed with skilled workers not finding employment! This is the time! But what to create, he pondered? Suddenly, a bee came right for his eyes, he punched it, and thought, Hey, what if we could take the place of bees and manufacture honey? Then we are less dependent on nature, we have jobs for people that otherwise wouldn’t be there, plus we will finally have a good reason to kill those pesky suckers. Berzhini locked himself up in his workshop, thought and pondered and thought some more, and finally he came up with the brilliant idea of a honey mine! He would create an artificial mine where they would “mine” honey! Naturally, the tricky thing, so he thought, would be to get the honey in the mines and have the honey expand naturally. So when the trial came he was especially nervous about that, but it worked!

Rejoice! Berzhini immediately hired the finest men out there and started work in the mines. And if he had earned enough money, afterwards, he could hire more people to kill bees, for which the world would have no use anymore! He would become the king of job creation! However, there was one slight flaw in that plan, namely the order in which things were planned. For if there are still bees, a honey mine sure would attract a lot of them, and so within days the honey mine was unworkable, and the Queen bee had ordered all human activity forbidden in the land she had just occupied. Berzhini, bankrupt and overcome by rage, tried to assassinate the Queen, but he was caught, she yelled Off with his head, and now his head can be found on a pointy stick at the entrance as warning for future trespassers.
