Tracklist new Neon Indian Album

 

Neon Indian are gearing up for a September release of their new album. It will be called Era Extrana, and it will be in shops on the 13^th of September. If you are really anticipating this one, you can order a Deluxe version of the album that comes with a mini analogue synth. Yessir. The album will have eleven tracks on it, among which there are tracks called “Heart: Release” and “Heart: Decay”.

In the era when McDos was starting to come up, people thought, can we computify our lives? Can we somehow translate the commands typed in this computer to our everyday lives? Lindsay Steinenbrauer was one of the foremost pioneers in this. She wanted her deputy to do the first honours, and she had thought up the command heart: decay. Her deputy thought this not so good idea, and with a vigour previously unseen in a man of 64 he packed a bag and made out for Poland. However, while jumping the park bench across his office in an attempt to escape, he was unceremoniously seized by a heart attack and he wouldn’t recover, well, period. Steinenbrauer thought, Ah-ha, it worked! But not due to a DOS like command, but because of me! ME! It was my command! And since she has quit her job and has started  a shop where she sells healing candles and light giving potions to remedy darker souls. She used to have open hours for sessions and councils, but she stopped doing that when a dog come in and bit her. Now she only works through appointments.
