Track: ‘Clawing Out at the Walls’ by Dominant Legs (listen here)
Average grade: 6.5
Anna: Whether you're sitting at home marinating in heat or on the beach marinating in the sun, this song is going to be your best friend - after air conditioning, that is. Apply its nostalgic pop frequently, especially after perspiration, and keep hydrated.

Danielle: It has a pretty, dreamy quality about it, right from the start. Maybe not from the very start, as the hand drumming caught me off guard, but it was quickly redeemed by the beautifully strummed guitar. For some reason, I have a hard time making out the lyrics, which is disappointing. The effect is that I am left with a warm fuzzy feeling, but nothing real to hold on to. Sweet, but not particularly memorable.

Ilse: First thought: ughhh, bongs. Luckily it's not too bad througout the song in general: it's actually quite pleasant and works well in combination with the boy-girl duo's vocals and the guitar(s). Despite not being the most innovative of tracks, it's certainly a very enjoyable one, with a lovely laid-back summery feel to it.
6.9/10
Linda: It's a nice and summery track alright, but a bit too simplistic and too repetitive too stand out from the crowd (maybe release it in winter, there's bound to be less nice and summery tracks then, unless you're in the Southern hemisphere of course). But maybe I'm missing half of the track since I'm listening to this in a public library using hairy public library headphones - oh the things I do for IKRS!
5.7/10
Stef: Perhaps this is the I’m-tired-and-want-to-chill-in-the-heat vibe, but I’m liking this now better than I did previously. It is nice, you can bob along to it. Lovely for in the background, and sometimes that is a compliment.
7/10
