Het concept is heel simpel: een groep mensen luistert naar hetzelfde nummer en iedereen geeft z’n mening, alsof we samen in een kamer zitten en het nummer komt langs op de radio. Stein zei a bus is a bus is a bus, en sommige vonden het post-modernisme, andere vonden het onleesbaar. Sommige vinden Duchamp’s Fontein kunst, sommige vinden het onzin. Stein sloeg Duchamp’s neus eraf en zette het op zijn kop, en zij vond het hilarisch, en Duchamp een stuk minder. Kortom, iedereen vindt iets anders leuk of kunst of mooi. Dus vandaar hier zes meningen in zes stijlen, en zet jouw mening over het nummer vooral hieronder, of join the team voor deze column, the more the merrier! Linda: Als er iets miste op het vorige album en de 'record' van LC! was het misschien een nummer als dit, als tegenwicht tegen alle upbeat vrolijke nummers. In theorie klinkt het als een nummer dat niet bij LC! zou passen, maar zoals zo vaak pakt het in de praktijk toch anders uit. Ik weet dat we hier nog maar kort mee bezig zijn, maar het komt echt niet vaak voor dat ik zo verliefd word op een nummer als op deze track. Mag ik hierbij de eerste 10 uitdelen?

Anna: Was that Los Campesinos!? Really? (yes, I'm starting this exactly how I started the Muse one).
Dark and with a layer of self-contained epicness, not to mention that the title hits a bit close to home in a melancholic yet warm way. A tiny bit pretentious here and there, but not to the point of irritation. Colour me pleasantly surprised.

Jon: It's deeper and darker material than I'm used to from Los Campesinos. Eating disorder is a strong subject to tackle. The lyrics make a brave attempt at conveying the message, but the band try to inject emotion into the track with quiet loud fits and bursts strings and childlike backing vocals. It's just cliche. I want the old Los Campesinos back not My Chemical frickin Romance trying to sound like Arcade Fire.

Stef: In order to pull away from that “young band” tag which, if you hold on to it long enough, inevitably leads to “I actually quite liked that band's first EP”, they had to do exactly this. Now they just need to remember that atmospheric and slower doesn’t necessarily mean depressing lyrics.
