Stein zei a bus is a bus is a bus, en sommige vonden het post-modernisme, andere vonden het onleesbaar. Sommige vinden Duchamp’s Fontein kunst, sommige vinden het onzin. Stein sloeg Duchamp’s neus eraf en zette het op zijn kop, en zij vond het hilarisch, en Duchamp een stuk minder. Kortom, iedereen vindt iets anders leuk of kunst of mooi. Anna: Aaah, my beloved Wild Beasts. These lads really are something. They write beautifully quirky lyrics and melodies, and I'm utterly in love with their vocal chords. This song is no exception.
The only problem with this band is that when someone asks you about up-and-coming bands you fancy and you reply "Wild Beasts," a strange look always follows and you feel obliged to say "It's not what you think they are."

Joxley: Ok. Is it just me, or does this sound like a rubbish Interpol song? The beats and the bassline are nice enough, but come across a little too polished - totally lacking in the sort of fuzz this sort of track needs to give it atmosphere. More like the sort of thing you'd hear in the Top Forty than in a dodgy club. The singing just seems lazy and undistinguished, and what is with those random shrieks? To be honest it’s hard to just this record. It's not even bad, it’s just bland I can't even really dislike it, I just don't need to hear it again. In fact, if beige was an indie-single, it would be this.

Irene: Het refrein bestaande uit woohoohoo is vrij irritant en de kopstembrul is niet veel beter. Verder had het best een leuk nummer kunnen zijn, dus misschien dat andere nummers van deze band mij meer zullen bekoren.

Jon: Ooh bouncy elastic intro, are we leading into a cover of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight?'. Are they inferring the ladies of Shipley, Hounslow, and Whitby are wild beasts too or wonders of nature? What was that? Did someone just step on Kate Bush' foot? Ok, I do like the rythmn and the deep vocal tone but my initial thoughts have turned the track into nothing much more than an object of my amusement. It reminds me of the first time I heard Shakermaker by Oasis, and couldn't stop singing " I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony" from that 70's Coca Cola TV ad by The New Seekers. I'm afraid the lion will sleep tonight and forever. This is tough, lets score it…

Linda: Oké, het is beter dan ieder willekeurig nummer van het debuutalbum, maar wanneer zanger Tom Flemming inzet moet ik toch enigszins de neiging tot grinniken onderdrukken. Wanneer dit tussen Kunst & Kitsch zou zijn, zou ik nu de menig rommelmarkt afstruinende bejaarde die dacht een echte van Gogh gevonden te hebben naar huis sturen met zijn vergeelde placemat uit het Rijksmuseum. En om de trend met onmogelijke cijfers voor te zetten:
